In the Barranco de Esquinzo on the Playa de Jandia, you can access one of Europe’s most beautiful beaches (approx. 20 kms long, with golden, fine sand) via the hotel’s private path to enjoy swimming, a jog along the beach before breakfast or to set out for your day’s hike. Many regular clients particularly value that they can walk, swim or relax on the extensive beach in the nude. On returning, one can relax in the comfortable, spacious and well-appointed apartments and suites.

Away from the hustle and bustle of Jandia and Morro Jable the Urbanisación Esquinzo offers a choice of 3 restaurants, a supermarket, a boutique, a chemists’ and a frequent public bus service to Morro Jable and Jandia. The Monte Marina Apartments have been under German management since 1986. The Duffner family, affectionally called the Swabian Canarios by their many regular clients, first completely renovated the property, then they extended it in 1992 and added a seawater pool with whirlpool.

In 1999 the newly built Suite Hotel Marina Playa increased the facilities on offer with the addition of a further seawater pool, a garden chess set and a restaurant with a large terrace and cafe, affording breathtaking views of the sea. The direct access to the beach was rebuilt in 2005. The latest addition is the fitness centre with sauna, massage and exercise apparatus, and the new Pool-bar with daily fresh cakes and snacks or refreshments within the grounds of Marina Playa.

Since 2005 the Monte Marina Apartments and their pool are reserved for naturists. Both properties are managed by Mr and Mrs Duffner. Their son Jochen is a trained chef and competently manages the restaurant whilst their daughter Susanne accommodates the guests at Reception at all times. The 47 apartments in the naturist village Monte Marina are mostly arranged around a seawater pool with whirlpool amidst palm gardens.

Similar to the apartments in the Suite Hotel, they are all very well appointed. The pool area and the surrounding sun terraces are reserved exclusively for naturists. Most of the apartments have direct nude access to the pool. Reception for the property is in the Suite Hotel Marina Playa. There are also available div. Internet points and wireless-lan.
