Questions about the Desire Cruise

Can we check in online?

Yes, you even should. To make sure the online check-in process runs smoothly and you will receive all the necessary documents for your journey, we ask you to do this as soon as possible after you received a notification with the reservation number to login. Please do it not later than 72 hours prior to departure of the cruise.

Where we do have to go if we have already checked in online?

If you have your SetSail pass and your luggage is labeled with the baggage identification, you go into the designated SetSail Pass areas and presents your documents for validation on board the ship, after you already can enjoy your cruise.

What happens if we do not have checked in online or at last minute?

If you are not checked in online, you will asked to do it at the pier. For this purpose it is necessary, to be at the check-in terminal at least 2 hours before the departure of the ship.

When you can go on board of the ship?

The boarding time is noted on your "Guest Vacation" (Manifest) document. Please note these times, because it is not permitted to enter the ship in advance.

What must we do if one of us has a disability or special needs?

People with disabilities or special needs are welcome on board. In order to ensure all special needs will be properly taken care of and your vacation will be a pleasant experience for you, we need this information from you in advance.

What kinds of excursions offered?

Adventure tours such as horseback riding, mountain biking, parasailing, hiking. Beach and water adventures, romantic sunset cruises, deep sea fishing, kayaking, just to name a few. Golfing, sightseeing and / or city tours and much more. The offers differ from port to port and from cruise to cruise. You can't miss anything, because all tours are shown in the TV in your cabin and you can book them direct from there.

What is not allowed on a cruise?

Illegal drugs, weapons or anything that might jeopardize the safety of the other passengers on board of the cruise ship.

Can we take our own spirits from home on board?

It is not allowed to bring liquor, beer or also other non-alcoholic beverages on board of the ship. You may bring wine or champagne on boarding day, which is limited to two 750 ml bottles per stateroom. There may be an additional fee will be charged if you consume these drinks in the public.

How can I pay for onboard purchases?

All purchases on the cruise are debited to the board expense account of your cabin and are cashless.

Is Internet access available on the ship?

Yes. There are 2 paid opportunities in the cruise ship to go online. There is Wi-Fi internet access (WLAN) and internet café / workstations where computers can be used.
