From Barcelona Airport (BCN) to the Cruise Port is about 15 km (about 25 minutes) La Rambla, the famous promenade in the center of Barcelona, is located near the port.
The port has a total of 9 terminals, 7 of which are dedicated to cruise ships.
From the airport, the port can be reached by cab in about 30 minutes and costs from 40 euros each way.
The port has adapted to tourists with disabilities and wheelchair users.
Marseilles, France

Although Marseille is a part of the Provence region, Marseille has its own soul.
Founded by a Greek sailor 600 years before Christ, Marseille is the oldest city in France, the second largest after Paris and the city with the largest commercial port.
Marseille is not a simple city that surrenders and opens spontaneously to the visitor.
It is a capitol of southern Europe, cosmopolitan and exuberant with the old picturesque port, its bouillabaisse and folklore.
On one side the old town with the harbor and the cliff streets high above the sea.
To discover the unique character and all the beauty, you have to leave the center of the city and explore some of the quarters, of which there are more than 100.
Up to six cruise ships can berth simultaneously in Marseille at the Provence Cruise Terminal. The berth is about 7 km from the city center.
The shipping companies regularly provide shuttle buses due to the relatively long distance between the berth and the city center.
Toulon, France

The Promenade des Anglais runs for seven kilometers along the bay and offers great views of the harbor and the noble villas and hotels.
The best time to travel is from June to September with temperatures between 24° and 27°. At this time it rains rather rarely.
Cruise ships arriving in Nice dock at the cruise terminal in the Old Port (Vieux Port). Cruise passengers can either walk about 10 minutes along Rue Cassini to the old town of Nice or take a bus into town.
There is also a bus going east to Villefranche-sur-Mer and Monaco.
Portofino, Italy

In Livorno, it is not possible to leave the port area on foot, but there were free shuttle buses from the port administration that ran about every 15 minutes from the terminal to the city center to Via Claudio Cocorano.

Can we smoke on board?
There is a smoking area. This is located on the port side in the forward area of the pool deck. Smoking areas are marked with signs indicating that smoking is permitted there. All other areas of the ship are non-smoking. This includes all public areas, restaurants, the pool deck, cabins and suites, balconies, hallways and corridors. For the comfort of guests, strict adherence to this policy is requested. Changes may be made if local smoking regulations require.
Can we choose a specific cabin, or will we be assigned one?
You always book only the cabin type (balcony cabin, inside cabin, etc.).
The cabin is therefore usually always assigned to you.
On request and against payment of a service fee of 29,- Euro you can choose your desired cabin.
You will receive a cabin guide from us and we will be happy to advise you by phone in the selection of your desired cabin.

Can I travel as a single person?
No, unfortunately, as a single you will not get on board a couples-only charter cruise. Please book an adult cruise, singles are welcome here. If one of the two partners does not come on board or leaves the ship prematurely, both partners must leave the ship or neither partner will come on board. As a precaution, we would like to point out that in this case a refund of the tour price by the organizer is excluded.
What additional costs will we incur?
There are no additional costs for you. Excepted are expenses for your personal needs. For example, if you wish to participate in a guided shore excursion, you must add these costs to your travel expenses. All prices on board are exclusive of taxes. Please take this into account when making your expenses.
What documents did we need to join the cruise?
You need a valid passport, which must be valid for 6 months after the end of the trip.
You need a manifest, which you can apply for online in advance.
You will receive the login data for your manifest from us.
We will send you this login data by email.
If you do not do the online check-in (manifest), this must be done on site on the day of departure.
This will take much longer and you must be at the port at least 3 hours before departure.
If you wish and for a service fee of 25 euros per person, we will do this work for you.
To do this, you must give us the order and release us from the obligations of data protection.

Off to the cool waters! Pool parties are one of the highlights on a cruise and always create a good atmosphere on board. International Dj's play a wide variety to suit everyone's tastes. During the day, you can take part in various courses. Clothing on board
The dress code on board is "cruise casual". At dinner, a "smart casual" dress code (dress, trousers and blouses) is expected. Formal evening dress (dinner jackets and evening gowns) is not expected in the specialty restaurants. Baseball caps, swimming costumes, tank tops, T-shirts and shorts are not welcome in the restaurants in the evening. Shorts are only allowed at the buffet. Clothing optional is only desired at the pools, on the sun decks and at designated events.
Guidelines
- We ask you to wear appropriate clothing in all restaurants and all public areas that are not clearly marked as clothing-optional.
- Keeping the identity of guests private is essential. For this reason, photos or videos are strictly prohibited in all public areas of the ship. Feel free to take photos and videos in the privacy of your stateroom.
- The game rooms are designed for sexual & erotic pleasure. We ask that you only use them as a couple.
- Please treat all guests with the utmost respect and always remember the golden rule: "NO" means "NO".
- Balance is important. Some like parties, while others are more into peace and quiet. The other guests would appreciate it if the noise level in the ship's corridors is kept to a minimum after midnight.
- There is an open-minded atmosphere on board the Desire Cruise, but drug use is not tolerated.
- Neither Desire Cruise nor Azamara Club Cruises can be held responsible for the loss of items outside the safe. Please take care to place valuable items in the safe.
- Desire Cruises is proud to provide you with a safe environment in which you can enjoy your holiday undisturbed. It is a firm company policy that all staff are strictly prohibited from being intimate or drinking with guests. Immediate dismissal would be the consequence.

Safety and prohibited items on board
For the safety of guests and crew, there are certain items that are not allowed on board. If these items are found, they will be confiscated and not returned.
These include alcoholic beverages, illegal drugs, flammable liquids, explosives and hazardous chemicals.
What constitutes prohibited items is at the discretion of the senior security officer and the staff captain.
Candles, incense, coffee makers, irons, travel steamers and hot plates (items that produce heat or an open flame, this includes heating pads, clothes irons, hot plates and any other item that could be a fire hazard are not permitted on board.
The only exceptions to this rule are curling irons and hair straighteners, matches and normal lighters. Torch-shaped lighters, lighters that look like guns, are not permitted on board. Torch lighters emit a strong concentrated flame and are therefore also prohibited.
Electrical extension cords, firearms and ammunition, including realistic replicas, sharp objects, including knives and scissors, items for self-defence, including handcuffs, pepper spray and batons may not be brought on board. Personal grooming items such as razors, scissors or blades less than 10 cm are allowed on board.
