National currencies

Our hotel offers are generally offered in the currency of the country in which the hotels are located. For payment of all hotels outside the European Union, the local currency is the US Dollar ($). If you are accessing our website from a European country such as Germany, we will show you all hotel prices in the currency of the Euro (€). For example, if you access our website from India, you will be shown the prices in the currency of the Indian Rupee. For hotels outside the EU, U.S. dollar prices will be converted to euros (€) according to the daily exchange rates as set by the European Central Bank.

Reference rates of the European Central Bank (ECB)

In Germany or the EU, there is no official fixing of foreign exchange rates by the European Central Bank. The European Central Bank publishes reference rates on a daily basis, including the U.S. dollar (USD). These reference rates are set in consultation with the central banks of the EU (ESCB European System of Central Banks). The published reference rate is an average rate and is shown as a volume quotation. That is, it shows how many units of a foreign currency you get for 1 euro (example: 1 euro = 1.02 USD). The course is published daily around 4 p.m. (except on so-called Closing Days). You can find the list of U.S. dollar mid-rate here.

For all offers whose hotels are located outside the EU, we will show you the price of the stay in € and in the local currency US$ for your information. Only if you transfer the euro amount shown on your invoice immediately to us, the euro amount shown on the invoice is is fixed and will not change. If the price of the stay is not paid immediately, currency fluctuations may occur.

How does the conversion from US Dollar to Euro work

Only if you transfer the euro amount shown on your invoice to us immediately (within 3 working days, receipt of money on our account), the euro amount shown on the invoice is fixed and will not change. If the price of the stay is paid too late, we reserve the right to recalculate the price in euros.

If the price of the stay is not paid immediately, currency fluctuations may occur, which will increase or decrease the price of the stay (see: "When do I have to pay my hotel stay").

Payments received before 10am, will be converted at the European Central Bank reference rate of the same day. Payments received in our account after 10am will be converted the following day at the European Central Bank reference rate of the same day. On the day the payment is received, you will receive an e-mail with an exact statement at the euro price and, if necessary, a corrected invoice. This will result in either a refund, which you will receive within 7 business days, or an additional payment, which please make within 7 business days.

If you have not paid for your stay by approx. 1 week before the payment deadline, we will send you an exact statement at the Euro price and, if necessary, a corrected invoice, with the request to pay it within 7 weekdays. For the determination of the exchange rate valid for you, the exchange rate on the following day of receipt of payment is taken as a basis.

Example: You have to pay your stay in the amount of 6,450 US dollars on 10/01/2022. You should make your payment no later than 07/01/2022 to ensure that the stay price is received in our account no later than 10/01/2022.

If we then receive the payment on 09.01.2022, we will transfer the amount to the hotel before 10am on 10.01.2022 and will use the ECB reference rate of 10.01.2022 for the conversion of the stay price. Let's assume that this rate is 0.9745 US dollars on this day, then your calculation will look as follows: 6,450 US dollars : 0.9745 US dollars = 6,618.78 €, so your stay price in €uro is 6,618.78 €.

Flights

Each booked Consolidator flight must be paid immediately and without deduction. If you book a Condor flight, it will be settled in direct debit by Condor. You will receive the booking confirmation / invoice from Condor. Please note that we charge a handling fee if we arrange a flight for you. Processing fees are generally payable immediately and are non-refundable. You can find more information about the table of charges here.

Travel insurance, rental cars and tours

Travel insurance, rental cars and tours are payable immediately and without deduction.

Creditcard

You can pay with us by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).
If you pay with a Corporate or Business credit card, we charge an additional 2.9% processing fee on the total amount.

Bank wire transfer

You still have the option of paying for your stay by bank transfer. Please refer to your invoice for the bank details. You can pay by bank transfer in either Euro or USD. If you wish to pay in USD, please let us know before you receive your invoice. You will then receive a USD invoice with our bank details.

Online

If you want to pay anonymously online, this is also possible with your credit card or EC card. Please contact us if you wish to use this payment method. If you wish further services from us, these are to be paid in principle with credit or EC card online. In this case you will receive an e-mail from us, please follow the payment process.
